I love the warm and welcoming environment of St Michael’s. I noticed it the very first moment I stepped onto the school grounds when I interviewed as a graduate teacher. Since then, the sense of collaboration shared by teachers in striving to provide the best possible learning outcomes for students has had a huge impact on how I teach. Outside of school I like being creative and making things, so you’ll often find me sewing, cooking, drawing or crafting.

Each day is a blessing when you have the opportunity to work alongside the teaching team at St Michael’s. The school’s daily meditation sets the tone for a community that cares for the wellbeing of one another. After school you’ll often find me taking my dog for long sunset walks, attending museum exhibits and wandering through botanical gardens.

Outside of school, you will find me creating special memories with my family and friends, and traveling whenever I can!

St Michael’s is a wonderful school that provides students with a variety of opportunitities through it’s extensive specialist programs and extra curricular activites. Outside of school I have 2 boys that keep me busy, I play a lot of tennis and during the winter months you will find me skiing the weekends away or watching the mighty Demons win at the MCG.

I love the fact that St. Michael’s is a small and close-knit school. Every student is known by name and seeing and sharing the world from their perspective is a wonderful gift. When I’m not convincing students that the books are better than the movies, I enjoy op-shopping, collecting books and art and spending time with my two children.
